Bokwall Rislund elects Omar El Khatib as new partner

Omar El Khatib’s practice focuses on competition law and rules on national security and foreign investment screenings (FDI). Omar has broad international and domestic experience advising clients in a wide range of industries and has worked on some of the largest and most complex transactional matters in recent years. Prior to joining Bokwall Rislund, Omar was at the Brussels office of one of the leading global competition practices. He also has experience from the Swedish Competition Authority and the European Commission. He completed his Swedish law degree at Stockholm University, followed by a postgraduate diploma from King’s College in London and an LL.M. degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Omar is a member of the Swedish Bar Association and the California State Bar.
